The tender spring works with the main spring in the shock assembly. While both are free to compress, their combined spring rate is lower than either spring alone. This lets the spring stack respond differently through its travel. A tender spring that remains fully compressed at normal loaded ride height has little compression travel left to contribute; however, spring contact by itself is not proof of a defect. Evaluate ride height, load and the intended shock setup together.
This tender upgrade retains the main springs. A full dual-rate replacement changes both upper and lower springs. Neither package changes the shock absorber’s internal damping.
Use the Can-Am service procedure for the exact model year and installed shocks, together with the instructions for your All Thingz UTV kit. This is an overview, not a substitute for the complete service procedure. Professional installation is recommended.
Do not open a pressurized damper or remove its reservoir cap as part of a routine spring change. For kit-specific settings, contact All Thingz UTV. Factory preload dimensions and another brand’s spring settings are not automatically correct for this kit.
These are the existing All Thingz UTV front/rear reference figures published for this listing, retained by tire size. They are not factory specifications or a guarantee of finished height. Use them with kit-specific setup guidance; do not transfer settings from another model.
| Tire size (inches) | Front baseline (inches) | Rear baseline (inches) |
|---|---|---|
| 28 | 13.5 | 13 |
| 29 | 14.5 | 14 |
| 30 | 15 | 14.5 |
| 32 | 16 | 15.5 |
| 33 | 16.5 | 16 |
Measurement: Use level ground, consistent tire pressures and a documented load. Settle the suspension before measuring. Use the same front and rear reference points each time and confirm the kit’s measurement points with All Thingz UTV before treating these figures as adjustment targets. Tire diameter, load and modifications affect the reading. Listed tire sizes do not confirm clearance or tire fitment.
General demonstration: This video shows a Polaris Pro XP Dynamix and explains spring-installation concepts. It is not a model-specific procedure for every vehicle on this page. Use the service instructions for your exact model year, shocks and any suspension modifications.
