INSTALL OF TWO PIECE CARRIER
REMOVE STOCK DRIVE SHAFT AND CARRIER NOTE - DO NOT REUSE CARRIER COVER!
PRESS BEARING ONLY ON YOUR DRIVE SHAFT
PLACE RED VIBRATION ISOLATION FEET UNDER CARRIER ON THE FRAME.
LIGHTLY THREAD THE 2 (M10X1.5) FLAT HEAD SCREWS INTO THE FRAME WELD NUTS. THE RED ISOLATORS WILL BE BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE CARRIER BASE.
(A M6 BALL END HEX DRIVER IS RECOMMENDED FOR EASE OF INSTALL)
INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT. NOTE - BE SURE THE CROSS HOLE ON THE PINION ALIGNS WITH DIFF YOKE, DO NOT INSTALL ROLL PIN YET.
INSTALL REAR DRIVE SHAFT. NOTE - IF YOUR DRIVE SHAFT HAS A SLIP YOKE AT THE TRANSMISSION, SLIDE THE REAR DRIVE SHAFT BACK TO MAKE FULL SPLINE ENGAGEMENT.
THE BEARING WILL FIT IN THE BEARING SLOT OF THE CARRIER BASE.
INSTALL THE DIFF ROLL PIN.
CENTER THE CARRIER BASE.
PRESS THE BEARING CAP OVER BEARING ON CARRIER BASE. USE THE 4 SUPPLIED ¼-20
1 INCH LONG SOCKET HEAD CAP SCREWS. 3/16” ALLEN WRENCH REQUIRED
ONCE THE CAP IS TIGHT, HAND TIGHTEN THE 2 FLAT HEAD M10 BOLTS. HAND TIGHT (APPROX 10FT #)
THE 2 SUPPLIED JAM NUTS WILL THREAD ON THE M10 BOLTS. TIGHTEN THE NUTS TO LOCK THE BOLT IN PLACE.
